Holy Week in Seville
Holy Week in Seville is one of the city’s most important yearly events, from both a religious and a cultural point of view. It is celebrated in the months of March or April. Admired all over the world, during these days the religious fraternities and brotherhoods leave their headquarters and march to the Cathedral, before returning to their churches of origin. Ask at reception for the ‘Hoteles Monte Holy Week Sightseeing Recommendations’.

It is the place par excellence in which to enjoy the customs and folklore of Seville, as well as to admire its beautiful horses and carriages. The venue is located in the Los Remedios district. The Feast of Corpus Christi
The festivity is a moveable feast, meaning every year it takes place on a different day. In Seville, it is celebrated on Thursdays, the day on which a procession leaves the Cathedral and marches through the centre of the city. The procession is made up, among others, of representatives of the city authorities and the Gloria brotherhoods, and they carry images of great value. Among them is the silver Monstrance of Arfe, a true work of art.
