The hotel Monte Carmelo is  close to the city center:

Next to our hotel is a pedestrian shopping and entertainment area: Calle Ascunción, where you can find international clothes stores, tailors, shoe shops, decoration and gift shops, pharmacies, bookshops, cafés, small supermarkets and banks, a well as a multitude of restaurants and bars where you can taste traditional tapas. At reception you will find an excellent information service to discover any corner of the area, as well as our recommendations.

If you walk 5 minutes down Calle Asunción toward the city centre you’ll reach Plaza de Cuba, which branches off into streets like Calle Betis, following the Guadalquivir river. On Calle Betis you will also find lots of bars and restaurants, as well as trendy nightspots to have a drink by the riverside.

Another street that begins in Plaza de Cuba is Avenida de la República Argentina, which houses various official bodies and company headquarters as well as fast food restaurants.

The Carriage Museum is also in Plaza de Cuba. From the San Telmo bridge, which connects it to the city centre, you can spot some of Seville’s main sights, such as the Real Maestranza de Caballería (bullring and bullfighting museum), the Torre del Oro and the Palacio de San Telmo, the seat of the Andalusian government, which gives you an idea how close these important tourist spots area.

Los Remedios is one of Seville’s most significant neighbourhoods. We are lucky to be the closest hotel to the Real de la Feria fairground, making your stay during those days even more special. You won’t need any form of transport to get to the fairground, as we are only a 5-minute walk away.

The neighbourhood has plenty of amenities and is very well connected, whether by bus, metro or hiring a bicycle.
