Our history
Our hotels in Spain were first set up in 1974, when Gabriel Rojas Fernández, founder of the chain and currently its President, constructed the Monte Carmelo hotel, in the district of Los Remedios in Seville. Later, in 1990, the Monte Triana hotel was established in the popular district of the same name, quite close to the Monte Carmelo hotel. During the decade of the nineties, the Monte Conquero hotel was opened in Huelva, and the Monte Puertatierra hote in Cádiz was also purchased.
The chain was not enlarged any further until the month of May 2005, when the Monte Málaga hotel was added. This establishment became the flagship of of Hoteles Monte due to its avant-garde, modern construction (both interior and exterior), its modern facilities and its unique ecological features and energy-recycling facilities. This hotel has always been firmly committed to sustainable development on the Costa del Sol.
Consequently, Hoteles Monte has five hotels: the Monte Carmelo hotel with 68 rooms and the Monte Triana hotel with 117 rooms, both of which are 3-star establishments located in Seville; the Monte Conquero hotel has 165 rooms and is a 3-star establishment located in Huelva; the Monte Puertatierra hotel is a 4-star establishment located in Cádiz, and the Monte Málaga hotel, which has only recently been opened, is a 4-star superior category hotel with 179 rooms.
All the hotels are city hotels with excellent situations in strategic parts of the city; they offer exquisite, high-quality service, and apply the strictest quality standards in all their departments, based on an ongoing policy of growth, maintenance and improvements in their facilities and services.

We at Hoteles Monte consider that the quality of our product is based on constantly g renovating and adapting our establishments. For this reason, important investments are made every year in all our hotels, to ensure they meet the everyday needs of our clients and maintain our leading position in an emerging market such as tourism.
We consider ourselves the Andalusian hotel chain that makes the greatest effort to achieve the comfort of its clients. Hoteles Monte is well aware that business travellers or tourists like to feel at home when they stay at one of our hotels, and that is why every since 1974, our chief concern is to maintain the welcoming atmosphere of each of our establishments. All this is achieved through exhaustive quality control.

Monte Carmelo y Monte Triana Hotels: Right in the centre of Seville, and just a few minutes' walk from the Giralda, the Cathedral and the district of Santa Cruz. Monte Puertatierra Hotel: Located on Avenida Principal in Cádiz, overlooking the sea and near the Historic Town and Congress Hall. Monte Conquero Hotel: Set in the old town, easy to reach and in an attractive site.
